1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pirates Ocean iOS game (the "Game"). By downloading, installing, or playing the Game, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Game.
2. Eligibility
You must meet the minimum age required by the Apple App Store in your region to download and use the Game. If you are below the age of majority in your jurisdiction, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.
3. Game License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the Game on Apple devices you own or control, for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. All rights not expressly granted to you are reserved.
4. User Accounts
You may access the Game using Sign in with Apple, an email and password account, or as a guest. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.
5. Acceptable Use
When using the Game, you agree not to:
- Cheat, exploit bugs, or use unauthorized third-party software to gain an unfair advantage
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Game, except as permitted by applicable law
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other players
- Use bots, scripts, or automation to interact with the Game
- Interfere with or disrupt the Game's servers or network
- Use the Game for any unlawful purpose
6. Game Rules
Royal Battle and Empire Mode outcomes are determined by our game servers to ensure fair play. We may investigate reports of cheating or exploitation and take corrective action, including reversing affected progress or suspending accounts, as described in the Suspension / Termination section below.
7. Virtual Items / Virtual Currency
Pirates Ocean currently includes in-game resources, such as Gold and Wood, that are earned through gameplay. These resources have no real-world monetary value, cannot currently be purchased with real money, and cannot be exchanged for cash or transferred outside the Game. If Pirates Ocean introduces purchasable virtual items or currency in the future, this section will be updated before such features become available, consistent with Apple's App Store guidelines.
8. Purchases
Pirates Ocean does not currently offer any in-app purchases. This section will be updated if purchasable content is introduced in a future update.
9. Intellectual Property
The Game, including its name, logo, artwork, code, and all related content, is owned by the developer of Pirates Ocean and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the limited license granted in Section 3, no rights are transferred to you.
10. User Feedback
If you submit suggestions, ideas, or other feedback about the Game — including through our Support page — you agree that we may use that feedback to improve the Game without any obligation to compensate or credit you.
11. Third-Party Services
The Game relies on third-party services, including Apple (App Store distribution, Sign in with Apple) and Google Firebase (Google Cloud) (authentication and cloud backend services). Your use of these services is also subject to their respective terms and policies.
12. Service Availability
Online features such as Royal Battle and Empire Mode require an internet connection and depend on the availability of our servers and third-party services. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability and may suspend access for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.
13. Updates and Changes
We may update the Game and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Game after an update to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
14. Suspension / Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Game or your account if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in cheating or abusive behavior, or for other legitimate operational or legal reasons. You may stop using the Game at any time.
15. Disclaimer
THE GAME IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT, TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
16. Limitation of Liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PIRATES OCEAN AND ITS DEVELOPER WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE GAME, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by GOVERNING_LAW, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
